Here you will find a Bible believing church in which Jesus is the center of our lives. We strive to teach and preach God's word so that everyone may know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We welcome all ages, cultures and back grounds and invite you to join us.

Right now: Believers who meet at the Alameda Chapel, have a story about how the Lord Jesus drew them to Himself by His love, saved and gave a new life and a future with hope. It is our Hope and Prayer that at the Alameda Chapel, you will find a Bible-believing church in which: Jesus Christ is at the center of our lives, God's word, the Bible, is our manual for life and ministry, God's love is visible in us as we minister to one another, and God's good news is proclaimed through us to our family, friends, and neighbors. That we may grow in Christ, grow our fellowship and do all things to Gods glory and honor.

Denomination and statement of faith
We Believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, preserved by God through the ages. We Believe in God, the Creator of all things, as revealed in the Father, His Son (the Lord Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. We Believe in the virgin birth, death, burial, and Physical resurrection of Christ. We Believe our Lord calls us to remember Him in His death by the Breaking of Bread, and that believers should make their commitment to Him known by baptism and holy living. We Believe in the imminent return of Christ to rapture living believers and to raise the dead in Christ, later to establish His kingdom on earth. We Believe Christ will judge all who have rejected Him, but that there is no condemnation to as many as receive Him.
History
Over 100 Years of God's Grace. Alameda Chapel is an assembly of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. We like to use the word "assembly," because we are a people gathered or assembled to Him. Our assembly began in 1905 when some believers from Bethany Gospel Chapel in Oakland wanted to reach out to others near their homes in Alameda. The chapel was build in the 1930's when folks rode the trolley cars up and down Lincoln Avenue, and played at the nearby Neptune's Beach Amusement Park. The Alameda Chapel is one block from the old "Bay Station" stop. This church has always stood on the Bible as God's word and has sought to bring the good news of Jesus Christ and His love to neighbors in various and innovative ways.
