Overview
Church Of The Good Shepherd is a Baptist congregation in Oakland's Longfellow neighborhood, founded in 1956 by Ruth and Eugene Lasartemay and a small group of fellow believers. Today the church offers Sunday worship, Bible study, and ministries for men, women, youth, and worship/arts, with a history of community outreach in the surrounding neighborhood.
Mission: "We are Empowered by the Holy Spirit to Equip all believers to Evangelize the world while Encouraging humanity to Exalt the Savior."
