CityTeam Oakland Recovery Program

Overview

We can offer you and/or your family support through our many neighborhood mobile food pantries throughout San Mateo and Alameda County, or our hot meal service available every day of the week. If you are facing homelessness, housing insecurity, or struggling to overcome addictive behaviors, CityTeam Oakland has multiple transitional housing programs for men, and women. All programs offer career counseling and pathways towards stable housing.

Mission: CityTeam Oakland is commited to providing immediate help and support to men, women, and children struggling with food insecurity, homelessness, domestic violence, and other life-disabling circumstances and behaviors. We are here to serve, 365 days a year.

Get involved

Warehouse Our needs change daily for warehouse volunteers. Service may include food box packing, hygiene kit assembly, clothing sorting, or seasonal needs. We appreciate your flexibility with the variety of tasks you might be asked to help with. Women's Programs Grocery Drop-Off Show love to the women and children in our San Jose women's programs by purchasing and delivering much needed groceries. Food Pantries CityTeam's Mobile Food Pantries offer loving support to our neighbors in need of fresh groceries. Volunteers will help with food distribution at various locations. Women's Programs Childcare Application CityTeam needs trustworthy, committed volunteers to assist with childcare while mother's are working hard to restore their lives. Kitchen Support Join us to serve hot meals to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Assist with food preparation, service, and clean-up. No cooking experience or special skills are required! Volunteer Food Driver Apply to become a weekly volunteer driver to pick up food donations. Men's Spiritual Mentorship Application Apply to become a mentor to a resident and help them in their spiritual growth.
