El Cerrito Chinese Christian Church

Overview

We are mission-minded and one of the oldest Chinese churches in El Cerrito. On Father’s Day in 1980, the church had it’s first worship service, focusing on outreach to Laotian refugees in the community. From an intimate gathering, the church grew to over 100 people. And we then blessed the Laotian congregants to form their own church. Since then, we have continued to emphasize reaching the unsaved with evangelistic meetings and baptisms. Today, the Lord has raised up a second generation to continue this missions: to preach the gospel and disciple believers.
