Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

History

We are a Confessional Lutheran Church, and a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), which consists of churches across the United States and Canada who confess the same doctrines. Although WELS is based in North America, we share the same teachings, beliefs, and fellowship as thousands of churches and more than 30 other church bodies around the world. The teachings of the Lutheran Church are those of the original, ancient church of the apostles and early Christians. The Lutheran church recognizes three ancient creeds as accurate expressions of Bible teaching: the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed.
