Overview
The “He Cares” team is the off-site outreach ministry of The Well (separate from the Outreach Center Ministry). He Cares exists because we believe we have a responsibility to minister to and show Jesus’ love to people outside the church needing Him desperately (due to homelessness, poverty, addictions, abuse, crime, unplanned pregnancies or other issues) point them to Christ, and to fulfill the Great Commission.
Mission: God has put it in our hearts to extend the love, forgiveness and mercy He has shown to us to those in need, seeing them as He sees them. We do this by showing them the salvation God is offering to everyone and what He can do in their lives. When bringing the Good News to the needy, we also bring some of the resources with us that God has blessed us with – in the form of worship, prayer, and practical help like clothes and food. However, our focus is the spiritual needs and how the Lord can help with those.
